I recently started this anime searching for a wholesome romance, and I have to say I'm not totally disappointed, it's a bit cringy sometimes but still enjoyable ( we're talking about Japanese romance obviously 😤 ) especially
. Anyway, I'm here to ask why the rating of the manga is so different from the anime. Is the final part of the story that good to rise up the cringeness of the anime? Should I continue with the manga then? Ty for your response

I actually bought the manga for the same reason, but I'm not that far with reading, so I'm quite curious about this as well.

It was cringe at the start, not so much later on it gets wholesome and entertaining the more you read on.

Also one of my fav romance mangas

The manga gives a lot of payoffs to what is set up in the anime which gives it a different feel by the end. So the higher rating in my opinion is deserved

I thought anime was okey and tried reading the manga and let me tell you , it was one of the best desicions I have ever made. Story gets so much better it became one of my favorites I highly reccomend it if you like romance stories.

It gets really good at the end. Though I am kinda disappointed that they
I still enjoyed what they did to every character, Char and Maru sometimes steal the manga from me. They also explored the racism angle just a tiny bit in a way not that intrusive to the romance.

Also, out of context panel from chapter 92 that's beautifully cringe that I just can't stop laughing to when I first saw it.

I picked up the manga right after finishing the anime i think it has quite a good start off from where the anime ended, has a very wholesome ending and becomes more serious as the story progresses it’s definitely worth the read.

I think maybe because the parts which the anime has adapted aren't that so interesting to most watchers, meanwhile the manga, which has already finished, has many better parts, so yes you definitely should proceed with the manga, you won't regret it....

The manga is awesome. Honestly, one of the best I have read. The art quality, characters, story, and comedy are just great.

I think we could start from chapter 19, there are some extra chapters before this one btw.

well if you ask me the manga gets much more better in later arcs which isn't shown in anime and it becomes less cringy than what you would expect from this. But for me the main reason why I liked this manga so much was because of its ending which was done beautifully by the author that will give you a feeling of how far they came from being enemies to this ending we got which personally made me emotional ngl❤️❤️ And yes you should DEFINITELY read the manga it's totally worth it👍❤️

Ty too ☺️, sorry for the late response but I was studying for an exam u know 😅. After the exam I rushed to the ending and I really appreciated how the story went after the anime. Now I feel a bit empty, I guess it's normal after finishing a wholesome romance😭. Maybe I just have to start reading another romance.
